St. Benedict's Painted Church

This small Catholic church was built and decorated between 1899 and 1904 by Father John Velge, a Belgian priest. The interior trompe-l'oeil painting is after a Gothic cathedral in Burgos, Spain. The columns are decorated with Hawaiian texts.
